When you first visit Ladywood Estate you will be greeted by one of our experienced team who will provide a grand tour around the estate.

Across our team, we have run multicultural weddings for over 15 years, meaning that our knowledge and experience of different religious events is broad and varied. Whatever religion you are, we can cater to you.

Come and meet the team - Mike & Jan Saunders, the owners, with our son, Alexander, along with Dipti Patel, who is our Asian Wedding Specialist and Coordinator.

As a family, we enjoy our days cycling, walking, fishing and golf. Rutland, the smallest county in England, is predominantly farmland and features at its centre, Rutland Water with its 21 miles of shoreline. 

When we are not involved in the family wedding business, we can often be found walking the many Rutland footpaths, golfing at Manton Golf Club, or cycling around Rutland Water. Jan cycles with friends weekly and these rides always involve a ‘Cake & Coffee Stop’, while most weeks in the spring and summer, Mike can be found trout fishing.  Weekends normally involve a walk with our two dogs Snowy and Robin. Life in Rutland could not be better!

Our wedding specialist and coordinator, Dipti, also plays a big role in making Asian weddings at Ladywood Estate unique and special. Alongside this, Dipti is also the owner and one of our approved suppliers of Rose & Violet Cake Company creating beautiful & bespoke wedding cakes. She is on hand to help you throughout the wedding cake process. Outside of Ladywood Estate, Dipti enjoys spending days with her family.

From your very first viewing, we give you a hand-held approach to guide you throughout your wedding planning. We aim to give you a personal service all the way through to coordinating and running your dream wedding day. Unlike many other venues, we are with you every step of the way, which is why the same team you meet throughout the planning will be the same team with you on your wedding day.
