The Orangery has been designed for large Asian Celebrations seating up to 400 guests, theatre style. With its south facing glass wall leading out onto a private terrace and adjoining woodland. Following your wedding ceremony, The Orangery can be reset for an afternoon tea party or an evening drinks reception.

The main Pavilion is perfect for your evening reception seating 400 guests.

Many Hindu ceremonies are held at Ladywood and some of the most exclusive Wedding Celebrations are conducted by our local priest Hemang Bhatt, or you are welcome to choose your family priest – all are welcome.

When looking for that perfect venue for your wedding day, Asian wedding celebrations will require a number of things to make the special day run smoothly. What makes Ladywood ideal for an Indian or Pakistani wedding? First and foremost, you need a space that is suitable to carry out the official ceremony. Thanks to the vast spaces the country house and its grounds provide, there is ample room for a number of traditions, such as the baraat, to be performed. 

Whether you’re having a Gujarati, Bengali or Punjabi wedding, we have experience in hosting for all. We can accommodate a sacred fire within a Mandap within our Hall if required and if you wish, you can plan to have your Civil Ceremony within this romantic setting as well.

Our Orangery is tailor-made for Asian wedding ceremonies. Licensed for all civil ceremonies and weddings, the room is spacious and bright with a south-facing wall. The south wall is made entirely from bi-fold glass doors, creating a fabulous indoor-outdoor feel to give the perfect backdrop for your wedding, as well as flooding the room with beautiful natural lighting. 

 Our listed Interior Designers, working with you to create a totally bespoke design to surpass your expectations of your Asian wedding decor.

Ladywood and Your Wedding Reception

Asian weddings are a beautiful spectacle and differ greatly from a traditional British ceremonies and receptions. We offer extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Asian ceremonies, rituals and customs to guide you through the entire process with ease.

We understand the time, thought and planning that goes into making an occasion very special. Here at the Ladywood, our wedding team will ensure you, your family and friends have a very special and memorable day. Our Leicester wedding venue is the perfect backdrop for the special day. 

Every wedding celebration is “designer-bespoke”, and with only 25 weddings held each year, yours will be an exclusive event at our stunning venue. As the venue is hired for at least a night prior to the wedding, we ensure that all Sangeet, Mehndi parties and engagement parties are all catered for. 
We understand how important the celebratory meal is on your wedding day and therefore we work with a selection of high quality Asian Caterers so that we can offer you a variety of menus and services to suit the many different religious and traditional requirements regarding your special meal. We welcome new catering companies at Ladywood provided their food and service is at the very highest standard.

To make your wedding celebrations truly special, we also have a number of partners who provide luxury wedding experiences. They will truly help you bring the wow to your wedding day. This ranges from modern helicopter hire to old fashioned horse and carriages. Whatever your dream, we’ll make it come true.
